The Rinji Seizure Arc (
Upon losing, Ogasawara makes a petition to the emperor which is accepted by him in which he is given the power to have several lands in the territory of Suwa, affecting the workers in that area, Yorishige tells Tokiyuki that the only way to stop the expansion is stealing the request of Ogasawara needing an expert.
Summary[]
Looking for the Thief[]
After defeating Sadamune, Yorishige and the elusive warriors return to the suwa shrine to carry out their activities, until Sadamune appears with an imperial decree that gives him permission to obtain Yorishige's land. Sadamune tells them that they have 10 days to withdraw from the territory, harassing several of the Suwa inhabitants.
Then Yorishige calls a meeting to clarify what happened, some inhabitants say that the only option is to declare war on Sadamune and others, like the three great generals, await Yorishige's instructions, he replies that they calm down and go home, which make. After the meeting, Yorishige speaks with Tokiyuki to tell him that he had found out that he had named his group as the elusive warriors, recommending a new member: Genba Kazama, a skilled thief who will help them steal Sadamune's imperial decree, although at first he was confused. denies because it is something immoral, Yorishige replies that sometimes you have to do immoral things and that is the only thing they can do for now.
The elusive warriors travel to Kikyogahara, where Kazama is, when Shizuku arrives, she asks the villagers about Kazama, scaring them and fleeing to their homes, surprised by what has just happened, they think that Kazama must be someone dangerous because of Kazama's attitude. the villagers, suddenly a fox mask appears to Tokiyuki saying that he heard his name from a long distance, Kazama talks to Tokiyuki and asks him what he wants to which he replies that they need his help to steal an imperial decree, Kazama asks for money thinking that Tokiyuki would refuse, Tokiyuki is relieved to learn that Kazama only asks for money so he accepts his deal and offers him a territory when he restores Kamakura to which Kazama accepts.
Infiltration in the Ogasawara Residence[]
After the conversation, Genba tells Tokiyuki that he wants him to accompany him to carry out the robbery and there he will decide whether to accept the money or the province in the future, which he accepts. Shizuku establishes a map of the residence to have a plan in mind, they find a warehouse where the imperial decree that Tokiyuki and Genba arrived at is located.
Meanwhile Sadamune talks to Ichikawa about the decree and how it will help Sadamune start his plan, Ichikawa tells him that he should have the decree until the days pass to which Sadamune agrees. Ayako and Kojiro wait outside the compound until Genba and Tokiyuki return, Kojiro distrusts Genba to which Ayako replies that they should trust him after all Yorishige recommended them to him as well as Tokiyuki. Genba and Tokiyuki analyze the situation and head towards the warehouse, Genba tells Tokiyuki if he does everything Yorishige tells him to which Tokiyuki replies that he wants to help the people of Suwa it doesn't matter if he has to steal the decree since they They have been kind to him.
Genba walks towards the guards scaring Tokiyuki, the guards wonder where that noise is coming from, to which they see Sadamune giving them the order to move so they agree. Genba explains to Tokiyuki that he can copy anyone's face using his mask clay, to which Tokiyuki thinks he is a mysterious guy. Ichikawa listens to Tokiyuki and Genba's conversation so he orders Sadamune and some guards to wake up and he will fight against the children.
Escape from the Ogasawara Residence[]
At the warehouse Genba hears footsteps outside so he suspects they were found, steals the decree and tells Tokiyuki that now they will have to escape and that protecting him is not his job. Both escape before Ichikawa and the guards can capture them, Genba throws several smoke bombs at the guards to distract them so Ichikawa uses his hearing to hear footsteps and shoots an arrow towards Tokiyuki managing to capture him. Tokiyuki gets rid of the arrow and escapes with Genba, so Ichikawa warns his men that they should follow them.
Ayako and Kojiro observe Genba's smoke bomb and act as a distractor, Ichikawa listens to the horses and deduces that Tokiyuki and Genba are hiding in the bushes, Genba seeing the situation decides to leave Tokiyuki and flee, Ichikawa manages to hear Genba's footsteps and tries to hit him with his sword, Tokiyuki pushes Genba causing the cut to hit Tokiyuki wounding him. Ichikawa's sword gets caught in the trees giving Tokiyuki and Genba the opportunity to escape, Genba asks Tokiyuki why he helped him if he wanted to abandon him to which Tokiyuki replies that it's fun to escape with him so he doesn't care if he's a traitor or not Sadamune wakes up and looks for the thieves which makes him meet Ichikawa forming a team that combines Ichikawa's hearing with Sadamune's archery.
Genba and Tokiyuki continue fleeing through the forest until Sadamune's arrow passes near them so Genba decides to act as a distraction for Tokiyuki to escape, Genba approaches Ichikawa and Sadamune distracting them with his abilities and managing to break Sadamune's bow, Genba tells them that there were all kinds of documents in the warehouse so they burned it, distracting Ichikawa and Sadamune meanwhile Tokiyuki manages to get to Ayako and Kojiro, managing to flee on horseback, Genba catches up and tells Tokiyuki that he will join them.
The next day the inhabitants of Suwa refuse to leave because they do not have an imperial decree, Sadamune tells him that he can get another one in a month, to which a follower of Sadamune tells him that he cannot get another one because in Kyoto the emperor assigned lands due to his will and that several people wanted territory and it was a nuisance. This caused Suwa's territory to not be affected, Shizuku heals Tokiyuki's wounds and talks to Yorishige about Genba's inclusion in the group, asking if thanks to Genba's abilities they could kill Takauji, Yorishige tells him that they should not touch Takauji, since even for him he is untouchable.
The Prince Appears[]
In Kyoto, Takauji and his group travel to the emperor's residence during their trip they meet Prince Moriyoshi who ambushes Takauji telling him that he will not allow him to betray the emperor in the future, Takauji's vassals are ready to fight against the prince and his group to which Takauji refuses and tells them that he will fight against him, Takauji approaches the prince while defeating his men, impressing Moriyoshi who tells him that his intuition is correct and he should not let him live, Takauji manages to stop his sword making Moriyoshi terrified, reinforcements arrive who worries about Takauji embarrassing Moriyoshi. The mikado lets Takauji into the emperor's residence causing Moriyoshi to tell them not to trust him.
