- In the anime, during the scene where Tokiyuki shoots arrows, several members of the Hoshina faction are seen, however in the manga only Shinomiya is seen while the other warriors are random warriors.
- In the anime, when Kojiro talks about how he cut Yonemaru, Yonemaru is seen with a horizontal cut across his face while in the manga Yonemaru is lying down with his back showing.
- In the anime when Hoshina and his warriors arrive at their base, Genba can be seen standing on Shinomiya's shoulders, while in the manga Genba is in front of Shinomiya.
- In the anime, at the farewell of both groups, a scene of Fubuki being hungry is added so Shinomiya offers them to stay to have a feast to celebrate the victory, being an original scene from the anime.
- The scene where Tokiyuki and the others are at a lake talking is original to the anime.
- The scene where Ayako and Shizuku wake up and Yorishige tells them that the battle is over is original to the anime.
- The scene where Genba sees a woman and bleeds from his nose is original to the anime.
