Chapter 83 is titled "Recognition 1335".
Synopsis[]
In the battle of Onakagehara, Shibukawa is wounded by Kojiro's cut, most of the soldiers present wonder how a child was able to wound one of the strongest soldiers of the Ashikaga clan while Magojiro, who was watching the fight, orders everyone the warriors who continue with the ambush and so they can rescue Shibukawa at that moment Shinomiya and Hoshina appear behind Magojiro ambushing them.
Yorishige mentions that they both had the idea to ambush the opposite side while Kojiro and Shibukawa's battle distracted the others while Yorishige's ambush begins, a soldier mentions to Magojiro that they have to leave the place since they could die, Magojiro refuses already Shibukawa has not yet been rescued at that time a messenger informs him that Iwamatsu and Noriie died in battle so Magojiro faints.
Both sides fight while Tokitusugu warns Kojiro and Tokiyuki that they must get out of that place since Shibukawa's party will come looking for him at that moment Shibukawa speaks to Kojiro and tells him to take his head since there is a good bounty on his head, Kojiro mentions that he is happy just to have killed someone like Shibukawa, he mentions that he could only do that technique due to his age and skills and that he respects him as a commander and tells Tokiyuki to do justice on his own. hand to which Tokiyuki thanks him for the advice as he leaves with Kojiro and Tokitsugu, in Shibukawa's last moments he apologizes to Tadayoshi for not being able to keep his promise and hopes that his family can prosper by falling to the ground.
In Kyoto, the emperor receives a report about what happened as well as the name of the person leading the uprising, he realizes that Tokiyuki Hojo is going to Kamakura while the Mikado wonders what the Hisashiban are doing, one of them mentions that after the assassination attempt on the emperor, they ordered them to go watch so they did not have enough men, suddenly an informant arrives and mentions to the emperor that one of Kinmune's relatives confessed that one of the accomplices in the assassination attempt was Yasuie, the emperor thinks that they have been under a conspiracy by the Hojo clan, Doyo mentions that he was in Kamakura before and can make a portrait of Tokiyuki, these pamphlets are given to all the warriors in Kyoto including Nitta and Kusunoki who is surprised because I never thought that boy he met would be the leader of a rebellion so he laughs and wonders if in other circumstances Tokiyuki would have been his lord.
Elsewhere in Kyoto, Moronao beats up the tengus since they couldn't figure out the real reason for Shinano's war and mentions that he has no news about the best of the tengus Natsu No Yon so Moronao decides to take leadership of the tengu.
At the Sasaki's house, Mima arrives and finds the portrait of the leader of the rebellion at that moment she recognizes that it is Tokiyuki so she gets upset.
Takauji who sees Tokiyuki's portrait, begins to remember his and Tokiyuki's moments for the first time to recognize him as a worthy rival, at that moment Takauji tells Moronao that they will go to Kamakura.
