Chapter 82 is titled "Kojiro 1335".

Synopsis[]

After Mochizuki stabbed Iwamatsu, he mentions that he has no regrets since in turbulent times he was able to enjoy his life following the Ashikaga clan while surrounded by beautiful women and mentions that it was a nice dream so he says goodbye to Mochizuki and the others.

Returning to Onakagehara, Kojiro and Shibukawa continue fighting both Shibukawa and Kojiro dodge the attacks, Yorishige observes that Shibukawa is mixing kicks with his long sword and mentions that young warriors grow in strength, skills and passion, at that moment Kojiro remembers the moment in which Yorinao gave him his sword and began to train as a warrior, he also remembers the moments when he understood and began to kill at the age of 7 and still does not know why Tokiyuki supports him so much, at that moment he realizes that ever since he became a retainer of Tokiyuki he found a place to call home and that Tokiyuki gave him a goal in life so he can't lose.

At that moment Yasuie realizes that an ambush is taking place by Magojiro to save Shibukawa since they cannot afford to lose one of the Kanto Hisashiban leaders, Shibukawa calls his own followers cowards due to wanting to stop the battle while that happens Kojiro manages to hit Shibukawa and mentions that he should not be so distracted.

Shibukawa says that he agrees and kicks Kojiro into the air, when Kojiro falls Shibukawa manages to give him a second kick and a third kick, Kojiro observes that Shibukawa wants to kick a lot to get more acceleration and thus be able to turn at maximum speed, Shibukawa observes Kojiro and tries to hit him with the sword, Kojiro stops him with his sword and using Shibukawa's sword as a base he grabs his sword and uses it as a base to turn on himself, Shibukawa does not understand what is happening and looks at Kojiro. Kojiro on top of him and providing a cut with his sword, as Shibukawa bleeds to death he begins to think of his loved ones and respecting Kojiro as he falls to the ground.
