Chapter 75 is titled "Onakagehara 1335".

Synopsis[]

Yorishige tells the army that they have to withdraw so Mochizuki withdraws his army, Magojiro observes Yorishige's strategy and mentions that Yorishige is quite good but he wonders if they could escape from Shibukawa, Shibukawa seeing the withdrawal of Tokiyuki's army upset and calls them cowards at that moment Tokitsugu attacks Shibukawa who, not observing any objective, thinks that they have attacked him from another place, Shibukawa's army mentions that they should go after them and annihilate them, to which Shibukawa refuses when observing that they have archers positioned on the other side of the river so he decides to retreat.

During the retreat Ayako manages to rescue Kojiro from the river and decides to take Tokiyuki to where he is, finding a safe place all the warriors decide to rest including Kojiro, Yorinao goes to Kojiro and tells him that he should consider the differences in abilities, Tokiyuki who Listening, he asks Nezu why he treats Kojiro so badly, Nezu mentions that Kojiro's mother was his younger sister who was abused by a vassal of the Hojo clan who, having a family, decided not to take care of Kojiro and the sister. de Nezu died having Kojiro so he had to take care of the child and observing Kojiro's resemblance to the heir of his clan they decided to give him the same name.

Kojiro says that he does not want to be a bother to his uncle and that is the reason why he risks his life, Tokiyuki gets upset since Kojiro is a big part of his life and one of his friends so he demands that he not risk his life again. Yorishige who overheard the conversation is proud of the bond the elusive warriors have formed and says that he should trust them more since his future vision doesn't work outside of Shinano.

In Onakagehara, Shibukawa is waiting for Tokiyuki's army to have their next battle, Nezu mentions to Yorishige that Shinano's warriors are used to fighting between mountains so they will have an advantage in this combat, Yorishige decides to send Unno to be Shibukawa's opponent to which Tokiyuki and Kojiro are amazed by the decision.
