Synopsis[]
As Tokiyuki continues to flee, Genba doubles back and snaps Sadamune’s bowstring, taunting them that he didn’t steal any documents because paper is for burning. Genba agrees to joint Tokiyuki’s retainers permanently in exchange for a province when Tokiyuki gains power. Sadamune tries to get another command, but due to the overwhelming number of claims of people helping to overthrow the Tokiyuki clan, the emperor instead allocates land by his own will. Tokiyuki asks Suwa Yorishige if they could use Genba to slit Takauji Ashikaga’s throat in his sleep, but Suwa says this is still too risky, instead they should just use Genba to reassess the situation.
